The coaches will have 2 time-outs per period and 1 in each period of overtime
.
3) Informative meeting: This will be held on Thursday August 25, 2011 at 20.00 in the events room of the Pavelló Municipal de Sant Julià de Vilatorta . This briefing meeting is not compulsory. Finally, the organisers will be available to clear up any doubts you have regarding the competition, accommodation, meals, etc. The event will conclude with a 27th Tournament Welcome Cocktail , to which you are all invited! Any teams that cannot attend this meeting for whatever reason will be able to collect their documentation from the Pavelló Municipal de Sant Julià de Vilatorta during the tournament .
4) Balls: Given the high number of matches being played (about 700) and courts being used during the tournament at the same time (about 30), the organization will not be providing balls for warm-ups. Each team must bring as many balls as they feel they need for their warm-up. The organization will be providing the official match ball supplied by Baden, which will be used for all matches
.

.
7) Inscription of players: A match cannot be started with less than 5 players. A maximum of 15 players can be inscribed per team. All the players must sign the Inscription Form before participating in any matches/activities involved in the 27th Tournament
.
8) Participation of one player with different teams in the Tournament: This is only permitted in 2 situations. a) When dealing with teams of different ages (for example, a junior can also play with an Under 21 or senior team). These players will not be counted among the maximum of 15 players per team of a higher age group. b) If these are 2 federated teams of the same age, whereby the players from a B team play as reinforcements of an A team (never the other way round), and two other requirements must be met: 1. That they are from the same club and 2. That the B team plays the season in a lower category to the A team. The B team players will not be counted among the maximum of 15 players of the A team.
Important: If the aforementioned requirements are not met, a player can NOT appear in two teams of the same age category (for example, federated senior and non federated senior – even if one of these teams has been knocked out of the 27th Tournament
).
9) Suspensions: In the case of a player (or team) behaving unfairly or uncivilly, the Competition Committee of the 27th Tournament may decide to suspend that player (or team) for one match, for several matches, or even the remainder of the 27th Tournament. There shall be no appeals against the decisions of the Competition Committee
.
10) Punctuality: Warm-ups will be done off-court, before the start of the match. The time between the end of one match and the start of the next (for the on-court warm-up) will be 5 minutes. If a team is not on court 15 minutes after the official start time, they automatically lose the match
.
11) Final considerations: The main objective of the Tournament is the enjoyment of basketball. Therefore, fair play is the basic rule of this Tournament. The organization reserves the right to make decisions regarding unexpected or conflictive situations, always in consideration of the benefit of the participating teams. The inscription of a team for the Tournament automatically supposes acceptance of these rules
